Scope of Inspection
Visual inspection includes all components, whether pressure part or non-pressure part. The focus is to identify all deficiencies that need to be addresses during the shutdown in order to ensure safe production until the next annual shutdown.
Repair List
Visual inspector generates daily repair list for contractors. This list is prioritized and sorted by equipment, location, or the contractor. Efficiency of the shutdown and repair was is a priority.
Experience and Knowledge
Experience and knowledge of the visual inspector is crucial for success. Fornax inspectors are trained inspectors who also understand operations. Holistic understand of problems allows for holistic solutions, rather than 'patching the problem'.
Reports
Final report includes summary of findings and recommendations for the next shutdown. Report then follows with photographic documentation of all findings.
